You can help outreach the 52nd ICYPAA at your homegroup or anywhere A.A. members gather. Just let folks know that the convention will be in Times Square in New York City from August 26 - 29th. You can tell people about our events or let them know that there is plenty of information on http://www.icypaahost.org. Encourage folks to sign up for our ICYPAA email update list on the web.
You can also print and pass out fliers and registration forms. We alcoholics are forgetful, so we've found consistent announcements help people remember. Always keep in mind, however, the best outreach is one alcoholic talking to another. Feel free to email us with questions.
Sample Announcement:
"Hi, if you hadn't heard already, the 52nd ICYPAA will be held in New York City in Times Square. It will be from August 26 - 29th. The hotel is booking fast. You can visit http://www.icypaahost.org to find our more information and register. You can also sign up for our email update list.
(Check our web site for any events that might be of interest as well).
(After August 4th, registrations will only be taken at the 52nd ICYPAA event. The price will go up to $35.)
